I noticed things got a lot easier once Palmoa reached 8 pounds. All of my Mom's babies were 8 pounds at least when they were born and she never had any issues with breastfeeding. I think tiny babies just have tiny mouths which make it harder.<br /><br />I don't think anyone feels 100% prepared for baby. Plus there are always things you realize you need after baby is home (we needed more sleepers with the hand covers).
