4/12 - Went off birth control

5/12-9/12 - Unexplained missed periods

8/4/12 - Married!

9/4/12 - Diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. Put on birth control, daily vitamin and 500 mg of Metformin

10/12 - Update appointment with doctor. Metformin increased to 1000 mg daily

1/13 - Decided to officially start trying!

Cyle #1: 1/10/13-2/6/13 - 28 days long, no ovulation detected, BFN

Cycle #2: 2/7/13-3/11/13 - 33 days long, first time ovulating! (CD21,) BFN

• 2/13 - Metformin increased to 2000 mg daily

Cycle #3: 3/12/13-4/11/13 - Ovulation on CD18, cycle 31 days long, BFN

• 4/11/13 - Appointment with Dr. B: 1 cm cyst on left ovary, corpus luteum present (confirmed ovulation!), continue on 2000 mg/day of Metformin, start of "infertility work up," semen analysis ordered for Keegan

Cycle #4: 4/12/13-5/13/13 - Ovulation on CD19, cycle 32 days long, BFN

• 4/24/13 - Keegan's semen analysis.
• Count: 23.5 million/mL (doctor considers anything over 20 million/mL normal)
• Morphology: 99% (doctor considers anything over 30% normal)
• Motility: 90% (doctor considers anything over 50% normal)
• PH: 8.0 (doctor considers anything between 7.2-8.0 normal)
• Volume: 2 mL (doctor considers anything between 2-5 mL normal)

Cycle #5: 5/14/13-6/10/13 - Ovulation on CD15, cycle 28 days long, BFN

• 5/16/13 - Appointment with Dr. B
• Received results of Keegan's semen analysis
• Decided if this cycle doesn't work out, we'd schedule an HSG
• If we did not want to do an HSG, Dr. B wanted us to try naturally for three more months
• If HSG came back clear, Dr. B wants us to try naturally for three more months

Cycle #6: 6/11/13-7/6/13 - Ovulation on CD15, cycle 26 days long, BFN

• 6/17/13 - HSG preformed 

Cycle #7: 7/5/13-8/6/13 - Ovulation approximately on CD16, cycle 30 days long, BFN

• Ovulation approximated due to being on vacation and not temping the days after a positive OPK

Cycle #8: 8/6/13-9/5/13 - Ovulation on CD16, cycle 30 days long, BFN

Cycle #9: 9/5/13-10/4/13 - Ovulation on CD19, cycle 30 days long, BFN

• Appointment with Dr. B on Thursday, September 12
• Agreed to do 3-4 cycles of Clomid 
• Suggested laparoscopy in the future
• If Clomid does not work, will refer us to an RE with suggested IVF 

Cycle #10: 10/4/13-11/3/13 - Ovulation on CD17, cycle 30 days long, BFN

• First Clomid cycle - 50 mg, taken on CD5-9

Cycle #11: 11/3/13-TBD - Ovulation TBD

• Second Clomid cycle - 50 mg, taken on CD5-9
• Decide I need to break up with my OB
